In addition, players can choose a sporecast as the theme to start out a game in, which will make creations in the Sporecast far more likely to be used as assets for the game's later stages. Players can instruct Spore to download content based exclusively or primarily on a Sporecast or set of Sporecasts. Subscribing to a Sporecast will cause Spore to download all creations in the Sporecast when the game is next launched, and then download creations added to the Sporecast afterwards while online. Sporecasts are created by players and curated by the creator of the sporecast, who can add or remove creations at any time and update the description and tags of the sporecast to make it easier to discover.
